I don't know what I'm doing

I seriously have too many blogs, I think. So maybe I'll start off with... who I am. Because most people don't know me here, I guess I can be as truthful as I want to be.

My name is Melissa. I'm 21 years old and I'm at my third year at Columbia University. Or I was, at least. I'm currently on a one year leave of absence and passing that year with my family in Houston, TX. I recently went through a rather dark time in my life, which is when I really got into the world of blogging. Sometimes it feels like troubles weigh you down less when you write them down for strangers to see.

Since then, I've gotten back into my first true loves: art, writing, and fashion. So, in essence, I suppose that is what you'll see here. Art, writing, and fashion. I'm no expert in any of the subjects, but I do love to play around and see what comes about. Sometimes my attempts fail and sometimes they sort of work.
